Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol

What is it about?

Mission impossible:Ghost Protocol is an agent based film and is about 4 agents trying to stop a nuclear missile being deployed.

This is an action packed film.

What do i think?

This movie really surprised me because of its three previous movies. Obviously i thought this movie was great. It had what the other three movies should have had.

It was smart, exciting and never lets the audience down. One particular scene at the burj khalifa( tallest building in the world) really gave me the feeling of vertigo.

Drillbit Taylor-Movie Review

What is it about?

Drillbit taylor is centred around 3 kids starting high school and begin to get bullied by one guy who is bigger and stronger then them. He is also 18.

The 3 kids decide to hire a body guard. They hire a bum named Drillbit Taylor but they did not know he was a bum.

The movie is about friendship and betrayal.

What do I think?

I thought the movie showed the life of someone being bullied very well and perhaps the way they reacted is slightly over-exaggerated but makes a great story.

There is not much I didn’t like about this film but it wasn’t a great movie either.

It showed a great journey of friendship

Project X-Movie Review

What is it about?

Project x is about three friends on a mission for high school popularity. This is done because one of them has a 17th birthday when his parents are away and is convinced by his friends to host a party.

And basically, it’s the party of all time.

It contains sex, drugs and incredible music.

What do I think?

This movie is a found footage type of movie. I thought they did this quite well.

I liked the movie way more than i should have. There was a lot of buzz leading up to this movie and the movie hasn’t got much of a story but it’s all about teenagers going crazy.

It was a very exciting movie but i think that if you are outside the age of 13- 30 you may not like it as much as we did.

The Big Year-Movie Review

What is it about?

The big year is a comedy starring Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen wilson. These characters are each going through a life crisis- Work-life crisis, Mid-life crisis and No-life crisis. You would have seen this from the trailer and this really does play a huge part in the movie.

The plot is that three men are trying to see the most birds in one year( The big year). And that is about it.

What do I think?

I have heard other reviews on this particular movie and they are not very good review. Personally I have to disagree. I thought that a movie about bird watching was very well done and what I loved so much about this movie was that it was seen through 3 different perspectives.

“The Big Year” shows a great representation on friendship, family and love.

Team work is also represented well by Steve Martin and Jack Black’s character because in order for them to have a chance against the experienced, manipulative birder.

I thought that there was quite a lot of drama in it but I did enjoy it. Didn't have as many funny moments as a comedy would usually have.

This is a new series called Movie Mondays and this series is all about listing good movies. It's not a top 5 series but simply listing 5 movies I enjoyed.

Bachelorette- Movie Review

What is it about?

Bachelorette is a movie about three women- "Regan" ( Kirsten Dunst), "Gena" ( Lizzy Caplan) and "Katie" ( Isla Fisher). These 3 women have been asked by a high school " friend" to be her bridesmaids.

 And of course problems arise during the course of the film.

Each character has a starting problem- Stress, Stoner, Stupid and Overweight.

Now the main plot of the movie is the ripping of the wedding dress. This is done by the three brides maids and they have to come up with a way to fix it in one night.

What do I think?

It wasn’t as funny as I expected. It only had a few chuckles here and there.

Bachelorette looked good from the trailer but it did not do what should have been done. It did not have some sort of friendship bond at the end. It felt like these four friends were still going to go their separate ways after the wedding. They did consider each other friends but they did have a nickname for the bride when she was in school (Pig nose). This suggests that their friendship was not strong 

The resolution was broken. They were not a team, they were three women trying to fix a dress.
